Our range includes 4 pot piston and six pot piston calipers in various calculated sizes to suit the cars original master cylinder to ensure optimum performance when fitting big brakes especially to circuit suspension. Unlike many race callipers offered each of our race callipers are manufactured from 7075 grade billet aluminium, CNC machined and hard anodised before assembly a 12.5% increase in strength and lightness is achieved over a dropped forged mass produced copy. Most race calipers when fitted to circuit suspension with performance brake discs produce large amounts of flex resulting in poor efficiency, Our tests have shown 15% less flex over alternative brands. Compbrake racing calipers are fitted with close ground stainless steel pistons protected by external seals. Our choice of performance brake pads was Hawk, these produced the best results on circuit and rally stages, using Powervane performance brake discs and performance rotor but all our range of race calipers are designed to except most leading brands of racing and performance brake pads.
